Natural variation with a production boundary
Wood should not look artificially identical, but a retail program still needs a coherent shelf presentation. Before sampling, we agree acceptable ranges for tone, visible grain, filled pores and small natural marks. Bodies are sorted before assembly so that extreme pieces do not define the final shipment.

Every approved sample is accompanied by photographs showing the acceptable light and dark boundaries. This gives production inspectors a usable reference when no two pieces of timber can be identical.
